Day Three

I think I used a lot of my mojo up yesterday. I'd have to check the NaNo stat bar to be certain, but I think I wrote almost four thousand words yesterday. For me, that's a lot.

An awful lot.

My personal daily best is only in the 8k family.

Anyway, in retaliation I had an easier third day. I wrote 1700 and change, then took a long nap on the couch in my Snuggie, draped with kittens. It's cold and rainy here, which is both perfect sleeping and writing weather.

Thanks for all the cheerleading so far! My goal is to simply write as much as possible this month. I'm enjoying the story so far, and interesting things are happening.

Total wordcount: 8140

Wow, you go, Summer! I'm plodding along at a decent pace with Nano (i'll do an update for the entire first week). I'm catching up to my lack of words on Day 2, so fingers crossed I'll get there in time :)

Definitely a good day! I'm back in Augusta on business today - also cold and rainy here. I'm flying back home this afternoon, but plan to find a bookstore to work on NaNo until then. Great job on 4k in one day! Keep having fun! :)

That's wonderful! I'm only up to 5k, with a personal best of 3k day. I tend to write slower than most, and NaNo is a huge impetus for me. Best of luck!

I'm writing around 2 Gs /day, but I'm having trouble getting on Nano to update it...and when I do get on there, it won't update my word count. *sigh*
I'll try again.

BUT--YAY! YOU! 4,000 words is a lot of words in one day and something to be proud of! :)

Plus, we gots to kick JPs arse.

I'm gonna go try and update my word count again, right now...

Wow, you've got so much done! But you're making me want a nap :)

Taking writing breaks can be good, since it is possible to become really tired of writing if you don't.

That's why I don't try for my personal record. I once wrote 9000 words in a single afternoon and evening. And... didn't touch my writing for about two months.

Best of luck!

Four thousand? Wow! On a good week I average about a thousand words a day. Do you sleep?(: Great job, best of luck on this.

lol. I love that you've been rockin' a Snuggie. That and your word count makes you a rock star in my book.

Come on? Is "arse" really a word?

Yeah, congrats on the word work. Totally cool. If my living room hadn't flooded out tuesday morning (not kidding), I'd be doing a lot better.

But enough with the excuses! Back to the drawing boards, say I!

BTW, can I borrow a kitten? :)
